Church Groups and Class SoftwareThe Groups section of Roll Call allows you to understand how people are involved in your church. Use this section to maintain sunday school classes, small groups, bible studies, volunteers or leadership boards. The software allows your church to:
Track class/group meeting times. The day and time that a class or group meets is called a session in Roll Call. You can set up an unlimited number of sessions. You can record attendance for each specific session. Track group/class membership. You can enroll people into specific groups/classes one at a time, or mass enroll people. The cloning and template features make graduating Sunday school class a snap. Many group leaders also need to track special information about their membership. For example the choir director may need to know voice type, instrument played, and if the person is willing to sing solos. This can be easily accomplished using Roll Call’s group member custom fields. Each group or class has its own custom fields. Record attendance You may record attendance for each group/class session. Your church has the option to enter the attendance manually, by clicking the name name of each participant or using a bar code roster and scanner. Set up child check in stations. Your children's department may want to set up “live check-in” stations to allow folks to sign in to classes and meetings. The student/parent can check in by using a bar code badge or by entering their last name. Roll Call will automatically record their attendance and print out labels for the student and parent, if you choose. Create Sunday School rosters. To assist your Sunday School team, use Roll Call church software to create attendance rosters to check students in and notify teachers of special needs. Your church can pick what information is included on these rosters. You can even include a bar code, so entry of attendance information is a breeze. Track background checks. Do you know if all your volunteers have current background checks? Roll Call can track security check information and Roll Call’s security levels will keep this information confidential. Communicate with group members. Your group leaders can easily communicate with their members by using mail-merge and emailing capabilities of Roll Call. Produce group/class directories. Make it easy for your group members to stay connected by distributing a group/class directory. Roll Call provides two types of group/class directories. Does your church want to know who is regularly attending classes and groups? The group attendance reports will allow you to view trends and determine who has been absent /present for so many weeks.
