Minimum System Requirements

Our software works in a network environment or a stand-alone PC set-up. For those churches desiring a web based system we have your solution.

Important Note: In a shared environment, Act! and the CAA solution is designed to work with up to 10 users. If you intend to use workgroup functionality in a network or web based set-up plus share a database with more than 10 users, you must purchase Premium for Workgroups and will need to contact CAA ministries for options and details. Customer registration and product activation are required in order to use this software. Some add-on products may not be compatible or available. For third-party products working with Act!, please check with your add-on solution provider for dates of availability information.

System Requirements

  • Microsoft® Windows® XP Home, XP Professional, Vista, 2000 Professional, 2000 Server, 2000 Advanced Server, Server 2003 Standard Edition, Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, Server 2003 Web Edition operating systems
  • Minimum 266 MHz processor (Pentium III or higher recommended)
  • Minimum 512 MB RAM or higher
  • Minimum 300 MB of available hard disk space
  • CD Drive
  • SVGA (800x600) or higher resolution monitor (17in. or larger recommended)

This product also includes,  Link for Palm OS® and Link for Pocket PC.

Palm OS Minimum Device Requirements*

  • Palm OS 3.5-5.x
  • Minimum 33 MHz or higher processor
  • Minimum 8 MB or higher memory
  • Minimum 500K free memory plus 1K for each contact
  • Hot Sync Manager 3.5 or higher

Pocket PC Minimum Device Requirements*

  • Pocket PC 2000/2002/Phone Edition (Windows CE 3.0 or higher); Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC (Windows CE 4.0 or higher). (Excluding Smartphone Operating Systems)
  • Minimum 133 MHz or higher processor
  • Minimum 16 MB or higher memory
  • Minimum 500K free memory plus 1K for each contact
  • Microsoft ActiveSync 3.5 or higher
